However, while we did see a team with some degree of fighting spirit we need to also be realistic. Roma played much better this time but also showed the usual gaps at the back, with the same mistakes and some scary moments. Sampdoria were very close to equalise in injury time, wasn’t for Mirante’s clumsy pass and Quagliarella incredible failure to score. Roma could be on the right track at last, but we need to be aware that this team is so volatile that cannot be trusted.
In the meantime, we definitely enjoy the win hoping the positive trend will continue. On-form Udinese is next game and it will be a tough match.
