Roma came back from Calabria with the three points, exactly what we expected. On paper that was the expected plan but in the field Crotone gave Roma some scary moments by missing some incredible chances thanks to some sloppy moves in our defense. Nevetheless, Roma played with confidence, always in command, never gave the impression to let go, and so in the end came away with another three valuable points to keep third place.
Meanwhile, Inter are back to winning ways, with an emphatic win at Sampdoria, Milan also kept up the chase against Chievo, while Lazio slowed down by dropping two points at home to Bologna. The race for Champions League spots is wide open and it will be until the end of the season. Juve and Napoli play a league on their own to chase the title, and it will be like this until the end of the season. Interestingly, Roma will play Juve at the penultimate game of the season, and possibly be the judge of the Scudetto. What will the fans do? Hope for Juve or Napoli to win?
Roma have picked Barcelona in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League. Some say the tie it’s already done, Roma have zero chance to qualify. That might be true, and realistically is the truth, but football is a game, the game must be played, and you will never know..the beautiful game is beautiful also because can be unpredictable.
